Manufacturer & Business Association Wage and Hour Laws in 2024: What Employers Need to Know

Whether it's a large corporation or small business, employers must comply with state and federal labor laws or they can face significant penalties and fines. Join us as we cover the main areas of the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) — the labor law established to ensure employees are compensated fairly for the work they perform. The FLSA governs such workforce practices as minimum wage, overtime pay, meal breaks, rest periods, and sick leave.

The Education & Training Center at Pitt-Titusville is focused on assisting with workforce initiatives. ETC is currently undergoing a $7 million renovation project that includes the Pitt-Swanson School of Engineering Manufacturing Assistance Center, which is designed to help both employers and employees. Weather permitting, tours of the campus will be available after the briefing ends.
