University of Pittsburgh at Titusville Awarded $250,000 to Expand Machining and CNC Pre‑Apprenticeship Pathways

Pitt–Titusville has received $250,000 through Pennsylvania’s Schools‑to‑Work program to expand machining and CNC pre‑apprenticeship training that directly supports Northwest Pennsylvania’s growing manufacturing workforce. The funding strengthens hands‑on technical education at the University’s Manufacturing Assistance Center (MAC), serving five rural counties and connecting high school students with in‑demand skills, industry credentials, and clear pathways to family‑sustaining careers.
