TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Students enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville will not see their tuition increase for the 2024-25 academic year.

The University of Pittsburgh Board of Trustees approved the university’s budget Friday, July 12, and set tuition rates at all five Pitt campuses.

While Pitt did increase tuition for in-state and out-of-state undergraduate students at its Pittsburgh campus, tuition at the regional campuses will remain the same. This is the second year in a row that tuition has risen at the Pittsburgh campus while not changing at the university’s regional campuses. Tuition for full-time in-state residents at Pitt-Titusville for the nursing program will remain at $16,824 per year.

“We’re very pleased that the university did not raise Pitt-Titusville’s tuition for the coming academic year,” said Rick Esch, president for both Pitt-Bradford and Pitt-Titusville’s campuses.

“We know affordability is a main concern for students seeking a personalized Pitt-Titusville nursing education and the prestigious Pitt degree as well as their families,” President Esch continued. “As the cost for college and so many other goods and services continues to rise in Pennsylvania and across the United States, this news highlights the outstanding value of Pitt-Titusville’s education.”

Students will be able to see their specific tuition rates along with other cost-of-attendance information on Pitt’s tuition website beginning July 17.

New Pitt-Titusville, first-year nursing students who plan to enroll full-time, may be eligible to receive a grant. The average University of Pittsburgh at Titusville in-state grant awards are $6,000, with out-of-state nursing grants averaging $10,000. Additionally, there are other grant options for transfer and part-time nursing students.
